Very Nice, not the plasticky version.

I've been using Ryder-Wait since 1981, and though I often go to other decks, I always come back. ?With early decks the plastic coating would wear off and you would be shuffling paper. Later decks felt like solid pieces of plastic. ?This deck has a wonderful feel and texture and the images are bright and clear. ?For those new to Tarot, the book to help you interpret that comes with it is full color and far improved over the tiny booklet you used to get in a Ryder-Wait pack. ?Recommended.

High quality, practical, and practicablea'

For anyone looking for a good, easy-to-understand tarot deck for learning, practice, or for any level of application, this is a great set of cards. The booklet is concise, practical, and practicable, and the cards themselves are of exceptional quality. Even though the use is very much tied to the intuition and sensitivity of the reader and the receptivity of the querent getting the reading, I can say that from the first card I turned, this set has been perfect for my purposes so far.

Art

What price is fair for really gorgeous artwork? ?Because in my mind, that's what these are--art.I have never seen cards this beautiful before. ?I got the borderless deck and wow, it really is special. My gripe is that the deck is a little hard to manage because the cards are on the softer, thinner side--they don't give enough resistance when fan shuffling. ?Also, I feel like the price could be lower than the current price of $43. ?But again, what is the right price for art?

You are going to buy this deck and it'll be one of your favorites.

It doesn't make sense, but this is cheaper than the U.S. Playing Cards produced cards, while being MUCH better quality. The deck is made of excellent card stock, at least 50% thicker than the U.S. Playing Cards"plaid backed"cards. The colors actually have tones and shades rather than the solid tones of the plaid backed cards and the major archana have the original titles drawn as per"pixie", rather than some plain font. I would buy these cards again at twice the price.

Beautiful Cards...but

The cards are very nice, the artwork is beautiful and I love the gold colors. My only issue is they are super thin. They are made out of some sort of pvc material and are very flexible. They are made to not crease, but instead they fly...seriously.I don't see myself using them a whole lot unless I can get a handle on them. I still thin it would be a great gift because of the artwork. Also, my box did have a typo on the quote. Nobody will ever see it, but I know it's there.

Perfect For Starters (Even Professionals)

I like the size, colors, thickness, and the a'Feel of thema'... The mini guide book with full-color drawings is very useful too and is cool it comes with the deck, is my first deck, and the kit of book and cars and makes it easier. if you want to learn faster check a youtube video I found called: a'tarot 101: learn all 78 tarot cards in less than 2 hoursa' - CONCLUSION? cool deck, decent material, full color, and a mini-book that helps understand. Recommended 100%

Beautiful and durable, with slight issues in the visuals

The cards, while beautiful and well-made, with a delightful playing card style texture and heft to them, have suffered slightly from the digitization process. While the colors are still vibrant, the vector style doesna't lend itself perfectly to a one to one replication of the late Pamela Coleman Smitha's masterwork. Otherwise, this is a wonderful deck that I would recommend to any tarot enthusiast interested in keeping for themselves a set of the classics.

A good quality, sturdy deck

This is not an a'officiala' deck. Meaning it isna't made by the rightful copyright holders, US Games or AGM. But.. they are a RWS tarot deck nonetheless! They have a matte, linen texture that shuffles really easily, for me. The pictures are crisp and clean, nice colorings. The box seems sturdy and should last of you storm them in it. Would be a wonderful first deck for someone, just pick a a'Tarot basicsa' book to go with it and the recipient would be set!

Uh-oh~

The one I received is not a full 78 Eric cards so it's disappointing and I don't really want to read it low because of simple the state so I just want to ensure that this isn't a common mistake in the factory process and I need to highlight this problem with three stars rating instead of five stars. It seems like this product might have been a defect, so if the seller is willing to send a replacement, then they can so I can test and review this properly.

I absolutely love this deck!

I absolutely love this deck! ?Easily my favorite rws deck at the moment, ?The card stock is sturdy and excellent the backs are simple and clean but not my fave tbh, Ia'd ?much rather it have the classic plaid backs or something similar but I digress, as for the images themselves they are absolutely beautiful I couldna't be happier they summon up that timeless spooky feeling that only the bold colors and strong line work of the rws can bring
