I bought this deck because I wanted a traditional Tarot deck since Tarot books usually talk about the classic deck. ?I am pleased with the art work and card stock. ?I don't actually use the deck much for readings because I find the symbolism more opaque than icn some more modern decks. ?Since I am fairly new to Tarot and still learning, I find it useful to study the same card from several decks: this traditional deck and two modern decks. ?Light Seers Tarot and Angel Wisdom Tarot. I find the symbolism much easier to grasp in the more modern decks, but I do find that by comparing the same card from all three decks and reading the booklets from all three as well as the Tarot books I am learning from that I get a deeper understanding of the card regardless of the deck it is from. In that sense, I find the Original Tarot Deck useful and valuable for me.

First the cons: ?The color scheme is icky... ?I was disappointed at first, but the deck grew on me since I got it last month. ?It all depends on how sensitive you are to color. ?The blues are too green, the purples are too pink, the pinks are too red, the grays are often too dark, there are entirely too many bright orange objects - etc. ?On some cards, the level of contrast is off. ?It's like the entire printing staff was drunk on the job and they forgot to do a color match.Now the pros: ?It's still recognizable as the original deck, and I've found that it's just as good for readings. ?It makes for an excellent extra deck.EDIT: At first I loved the card stock - it's linen-like in texture, and the backs are nice, but it didn't hold up too well over the last few months. ?It's still a decent deck, and the cards are thick, but they get warped easily.

I have been looking at this deck for some time now. I was on the fence about it. I looked through photos, watched YouTube unboxing videos and still couldn't decide if I was sold. I finally just made the purchase, and I am so happy that I did. WOW... what a beautiful deck. The online pictures & videos do not do it justice until you actually get the deck in your hands. The images are are just beautiful, the finish and the card stock is perfect....I even ended up loving the tan backs. This has become my new favorite deck and I am very impressed. The ( knight of cups) does have a printing error...a piece of the horse is missing, but it is hardly noticable. I wouldn't have noticed it if a YouTuber hadn't pointed it out. This deck for me is everything I was looking for in a RWS deck. Love it.

These are the most beautiful tarot cards I own. They have a lenticular feel and look to them which makes them so interesting to look at and touch. They are a bit darker than I expected but they are still gorgeous. I'm tempted to get another deck in a different color because I like them so much. While they are very slippery this works well for me because I have nerve damage in one of my hands and it makes shuffling regular cards somewhat difficult. These are much easier to move around and shuffle. And I love that if a cat knocks a cup of water on them they won't be ruined, as this is a real problem in my household! They are also a bigger size than my other decks. The asthetic of these gives a Gothic feel that I love and they come in a sturdy box for storage. Love!

I was really happy with this tarot deck, not knowing what to expect after reading some reviews on other people's tarot purchases from other companies that had, what appeared like, similar cards. I decided to chance it, knowing that this is Amazon and I can return it if I don't like it. Well, needless to say, I'm keeping my tarot deck. They are beautiful and the color is vibrant. I ordered a borderless deck from a social media site that took 3 months to arrive, were holographic (but were not advertised as such), but the color was washed out, and were wrapped in cellophane. No box! I had to buy a box, on Amazon, for them. But this deck is gorgeous ?AND it came in a nice box with a magnetic closure. It was certainly worth the purchase and I highly recommend them!!!

This is a gorgeous tarot deck! The images pop with vibrant color. I ordered the Gold and Black and I was blown over with the cards. This 78 card desk is the best quality deck I have ever had, which I own quite a few decks, and nothing on the market measures up to these. The deck shuffles like a dream! Cards are slick and easy to shuffle. Holding the cards in my hand felt comfortable. As a reader, I found the deck that I will use from here on out. When I first started tarot it was with this deck but had lost my original years ago. Since then have gotten other decks I've been happy with.This deck is definitely a good buy! The cards are a perfect thickness and great quality. The pictures are vibrant and beautiful the way I remember. The only issue I had with this deck was oddly the 4 of pentacles looked as if someone was eating or drinking and smudged something on the card and then put it back in the deck. The deck was sealed when I got it and seemed new and none of the other cards had that issue. I cleaned it easily and I'm going to cleanse the cards. ?I'm still extremely happy with the deck though!
