This is one of the most beautiful sets of tarot cards I have come across. They absolutely shimmer and reflect light off of them. They might actually be a little blinding in bright light. They are made of some type of material that does not quite feel like paper that would be really hard to bend, and they are a little slippery, but they are easy to shuffle otherwise, and I have no problem using them. The book that comes with them is a tiny booklet that is not the best, but I prefer and would suggest others use various books or other sources to compare meanings or go with your own anyway. They are just standard cards that would make a nice gift.

I've been having so much fun with these. I just recently got back into tarot. I dabbled with it in high school but never really learned much about it. This was my first deck since then (more than a decade). It's great for beginners. The images are pretty easy to intuitively interpret and the deck itself is pretty easy to shuffle. The cards are big, so shuffling takes a little more effort than a normal deck of playing cards, but it's still not hard. And so far, I haven't damaged any of the cards, even slightly. My dog walked on them at one point and they still look good as new, so they're extremely durable. Overall, highly recommend.
