Ita's a Rider Waite Smith deck, and that is always a plus for me. The colors are not the best but I do like the linen look to them, the card stock not the greatest. I dona't use this deck too often but I do reach for it every now and then. I find that, like with all my decks the messages come regardless of how I feel about the look or card quality.
I love this deck sooo much! Everything about it, even the way it smells reminiscent of a new book. Super accurate. It is making me pick back up doing readings professionally again! AND DID I MENTION HOW ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! The cards fold BUT DO NOT BEND!!! THEY REMAIN LOOKING NEW!!!! and indeed waterproof!!! DONT HESITATE GET EM!!!
I love the way they look they are stunningly beautiful but they are so slick that when you shuffle they go all over the darn place. I am getting it down and figured with time I would. So don't let that detour you from buying because they are durable and will last a very long time if not a lifetime. These have become my go-to deck????
No expert here but these cards seem to be of great quality. ?They are a nice thickness with nice coloring. ?I'm sure if I used these for magical purposes they would do the job. ?If they didn't do the job it would probably be because I didn't know what I was doing. ?The booklet is nice too and includes good descriptions of the cards.
These are beautiful cards but being plastic theya're hard to hold on to especially when shuffling. The box is nice though mine was slightly damaged (in transit I believe) as it should have been shipped in a box, not a padded envelope. I have gotten used to shuffling them for the most part, but I have dropped them a few times anyway.
I love this deck! I'm a beginner so this is perfect, it's the original version which makes it easier for one to learn. Only thing is, I thought they were gonna be thicker (these cards are thin). Also, it was a little booklet that is very helpful with the meanings of everything card, how to throw it a certain way, etc. Very nice!
I'm a Card Collector and I own over 200 decks. I have every version of the rider deck all the way back to the 1959 University cards. These are by far the best feeling easiest to shuffle cards I've ever laid my hands on. Besides my 1971 (an actual deck from 71) these are now my go to cards! I'm going to buy a spare just in case.
This Tarot deck is very sturdy and beautiful. Colors are crisp, cards thick not glossy. Probably one of the best quality decks out there in my opinion and the price is very fair. The little booklet in the box is of"book quality"not the normal pamphlet quality, it even has colored images in it. I highly recommend this deck.
I've read reviews of other card sets that the printing is off and the cards are thin. These are a nicely printed, expected thickness set of cards with a book included to give you a very basic description. These are my first deck of tarot cards and I wanted to start with a Rider Waite deck. This deck fits the bill perfectly!
These cards a slightly thinner than I expected (these are like the thickness of playing cards but in tarot card size) but they are easy to shuffle and hold. Colors are nice. This is a great Rider Waite deck (I have a few). The guidebook has short descriptions and pictures of the cards, but no reversal descriptions, FYI.
